South 4th Street is closed due to pavement removal between Horne and Cutler Street. Concrete pavement has been removed and will be replaced with a temporary aggregate base until new concrete is poured on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
Cure time for the new concrete pavement will be 7 days. This segment of South 4th Street is expected to be open to regular traffic May 29, 2012. No traffic will be allowed to use this segment of South 4th Street during this time.
Utility work will also continue on South 4th Street, between Bowman Street and Prairie Street.
The contractor has been informed that emergency vehicles must have access to residential properties at all times.
All residents that are within the affected construction limits have received a master notification letter describing the projects limits, and anticipated work activities.
